1683. MANUSCRIPT. (EXECUTORY DOCUMENT—CHARLES II). ANCESTRY AND GENEALOGY OF DON ANDRÉS AND DON MANUEL RAPOSSO AGUILAR AND CUETO HERNÁNDEZ. Handwritten writ of execution in one volume, in small folio format. Text on paper. It begins with an illumination on parchment: a Crucifixion within an ornamental border and with views of a castle in the background; on the reverse side of this, an Immaculate Conception, also within a crowned decorative border; followed by the title of the document within a border featuring hunting animals (reverse side blank); followed by a coat of arms featuring a standing eagle and, at the top, a helmet with colored plumes (reverse side blank), and finally a family tree (reverse side blank). After these illuminations comes the text on paper, sealed in 1683. It indicates that the document is the genealogy of Don Andrés and Don Manuel Raposso Aguilar y Cueto Hernández, residents of the town of Aguilar del Campo, the former being the owner of the ancestral estate in that same town. 6 h. + 156 fol., all handwritten and initialed. It bears remnants of a large plate seal at the end, beneath the corresponding signatures, given in Seville on September 10, 1683. Bound in maroon velvet, with dry-stamped metal decorations, silver clasps (complete), and gilded and chiseled edges.
