Letter on his behalf, signed (initialed) by Didier DAURAT, Toulouse, September 29, 1924, to Jean MERMOZ in Lille; 1 typewritten page, quarto size, on “Lignes Aériennes Latécoère” letterhead. Mermoz’s hiring by Latécoère. Following Mermoz’s letter of the 27th, “we have the honor to inform you that we are prepared to hire you as a pilot for our airline, subject to your successfully completing the required tests in Toulouse and on our routes.
