Antique cross with a medallion feature. Hallmarked 585 rose gold. 52.04 x 39.08 mm. 5.7 g. Historic pendant from the second half of the 19th century in the shape of a cross with blue enameled panels and, set within a wreath of seed beads, a compartment that opens at the back—presumably originally intended for holding relics or similar items. With a fixed eyelet. The enamel work shows signs of age and wear (scratches), as does the glass (which is only noticeable under 10x magnification); the reverse side has slight dents.
