An icon of the highest quality, executed in exceptionally fine miniature painting. The figures are elegantly elongated, their garments richly highlighted with gold folds, and the architecture in the background is elaborately ornamented. The central panel was inserted at a later date (vrezka); the borders have been stripped down to the levkas, minimally restored, with losses along the lower border. 40.3 x 34 cm.
