Kovcheg, egg tempera on a chalk ground, silvered tempera on a wood panel with kovcheg. The silvered background is covered with a golden lacquer. The silver-gilt oklad is heavily repoussé. Marked with the city mark, assayer’s mark, the 84 standard, and the Cyrillic master’s mark “IU.” Two selected saints on the borders: Saint Stephen the Protomartyr and Saint Alexius, Man of God. The border has been restored. 31.7 x 27.3 cm.
