The hinged repoussé cover is decorated with mounted soldiers and foliage and engraved with initials and the date “21 VIII 1916.” Marked with the assayer’s mark, the 84 standard, and the master’s mark. The bowenite base has been restored. 22.3 x 15.5 cm.
