Each coin bears Raphael Maklouf's crowned portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse and Benedetto Pistrucci's composition of Saint George slaying the dragon on the reverse. Struck in 22-carat gold with proof finish. Double sovereign: 15.98 g, diameter 28.40 mm. Sovereign: 7.98 g, diameter 22.05 mm. Half sovereign: 3.99 g, diameter 19.30 mm. Total weight: 27.95 g. Total fine-gold content: approximately 0.824 troy oz. Limited to 12,500 three-coin sets. Accompanied by the original Royal Mint presentation case and Certificate of Authenticity no. 06872.
