A LARGE GILT-SILVER MOUNTED JAMBIYA DAGGER, 18/19 CC. An Ottoman Jambiya of characteristic form with a curved double-edged pointy blade with a central ridge. The hilt is made of steel richly decorated with gold inlay. The scabbard is silver-mounted and covered in dark velvet. Ottoman Empire, 18th/19th century. Dimensions: L: 18 1.2 in., (47 cm.) Condition: Very good for the age. Minor signs of wear. Традиционный изогнутый клинок с ярко выраженным центральным ребром. Стальная рукоять богато украшена золочеными растительными узорами.
