A WW2 GERMAN M43 PANZER OFFICER FIELD CAP Black wool with silver piping. Black wool M43 field cap for a German Army Panzer officer, with short cloth visor, fold-down side flaps, two pebbled front buttons, silver officer piping around the crown, and a front Heer eagle-and-cockade trapezoid insignia. The black body points to Panzer / armored troops, while the silver piping indicates officer grade styling. Dimensions: D: 8 in., (20.3 cm.)
