Set of 2 staff armbands: one made of blue rayon embroidered with the gold staff lightning bolts of the governors of fortified towns; the other made of tricolor rayon embroidered with the gold staffand the naval anchor of the colonial army corps staff, along with Lieutenant ROULLOIN’s staff diploma dated 1911 and signed by the Chief of the General Staff, General JOFFRE. Auguste ROULLOIN. A certified staff officer, he fought as a captain in the 2nd Battalion of the Middle Congo and was killed in action on October 15, 1917, at the Handremont quarries (Meuse).
