VERY LARGE AND HEAVY SIBERIAN MAMMOTH TOOTH Mammoth ivory, approx. 30,000 years old; officially exported from the Soviet Union and officially imported into Switzerland in 1981; documentation available. L: approx. 245 cm, circumference: 57 cm, weight: approx. 100 kg In recent years, the mammoth tusk was mounted on a wooden base filled with lead weights and secured to the wall with clamps. Due to its height and bulk, we are unable to replicate this setup in our auction house; the photographs therefore provide only an impression. We do not offer shipping services for this item. Exporting it is currently difficult or prohibited. Please verify before the auction whether this is feasible for you in your country. The buyer is responsible for arranging export and transport.
