A personal note from Wendy Benchley: “David Doubilet and Peter were close friends and went on numerous National Geographic expeditions together. Peter greatly admired David's superb talent with a camera and with words. David was a splendid writer.” From the personal collection of Peter Benchley (American, 1940-2006), acclaimed author of Jaws, accomplished diver, and prominent advocate for ocean and shark conservation.
