Published by Maritime Heritage Prints, Inc. Sight: 24 x 31 1/2 in. Frame: 32 x 38 1/4 in. Part of the collection of ships and harbors that hung in the Benchley home: Stobart's view of the New York waterfront when sailing still ruled it. From the personal collection of Peter Benchley (American, 1940-2006), acclaimed author of Jaws, accomplished diver, and prominent advocate for ocean and shark conservation. Proceeds from the Peter Benchley Collection will benefit five ocean conservation organizations: Peter Benchley Ocean Awards, WildAid, Beneath the Waves, Blue Frontier and Environmental Defense Fund. CONDITION: The artwork appears to be in good condition with no visible foxing, toning, or fading. The matting remains clean without signs of moisture damage.
