Light Cavalry Officer's Saber, "Chasseur" style. Handle covered in shagreen with double filigree (partially missing). Brass mountings, three-pronged guard with two lugs. Curved blade with a flat back and hollow edges from Solingen, engraved one-third of the way along (traces of gold). Sheath made of sheet iron with two brass bands. Asymmetrical tip. E.M. Circa 1810.
