BROOCH Horse’s Head, Gold and Diamonds A brooch depicting a horse’s head in profile, finely crafted in yellow gold, with a polished coat and a neck chiseled with a mane of wavy strands; the mane edged with a row of small brilliant-cut diamonds. Pin and snap clasp on the reverse. French craftsmanship, 18-karat yellow gold (750 ‰); eagle-head hallmark. Master’s mark illegible. Circa 1980. Height: 3.5 cm — Width: 3.5 cm — Gross weight: 20.8 g.
