BROOCH Heart and Shooting Star — Diamonds Brooch featuring a stylized openwork heart crossed by a shooting star, crafted in white gold and platinum, entirely set with brilliant-cut, baguette-cut, and navette-cut diamonds; the tail is accented with two stars whose points are formed by baguette-cut diamonds. Made in France, 18-karat white gold (750 ‰) and platinum; eagle’s head hallmark (gold) and dog’s head hallmark (platinum); illegible master’s mark. Circa 1950.
