Hergé and Studios Hergé, Tintin and Snowy, An original composition (created for a vinyl record cover) in India ink and colored adhesive paper, inspired by the last panel of page 29 from the episode “The Castafiore Emerald.” A comical scene in which musicians from the Moulinsart marching band burst onto the scene to celebrate the supposed marriage between “La Castafiore” and Haddock. Like a mirage, this marching band is thus playing for a phantom event. Note that the bandleader is the butcher Zanzot, and the marble cutter, Isodore Boullu, is playing the trumpet. Signed by Hergé (sun-faded signature). Dimensions: 26 x 26 cm. © Hergé-Tintinimaginatio 2026
