A late chapter in art history: At the clinic in St. Rémy, artistic expression as a diagnostic tool in the treatment of psychogenic disorders makes explicit reference to the former patient Vincent van Gogh, for whom this clinic served as the penultimate stop in his life in 1889–90. Ariadne’s thread is meant to be understood as a life path, laid out within the labyrinth in a way that is difficult for the viewer to follow. – Enclosed: Certificate from Dr. J.-M.
