First edition. 29 poems by André Frénaud illustrated with 16 original prints made from slates engraved by Raoul Ubac. The frontispiece is signed by the artist. “Alentour de la montagne marks the culmination of their collaborative work” (Jean-Paul Madou). Limited edition of 105 copies on Misumi Japanese paper: one of 20 copies accompanied by a set of the 16 engravings signed by Ubac and printed on Hodomura Japanese paper. Significant pinholes on the first few pages. The rest of the book is in perfect condition.
