About the Firm
Florent Magnin (39) and François Wedrychowski (46)—both auctioneers—formed a partnership in 2015.
This dynamic, modern duo chose Drouot as the location for their offices and sales, reflecting their commitment to the profession's core values while positioning themselves as part of a forward-looking new generation. Their goal is to provide the best possible support to their clients, whether for valuations, advisory services, or sales. They strive to maximize the exposure of the items entrusted to them and to ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to participate in their auctions.
Florent Magnin holds a Master’s degree in Private Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the Sorbonne; he worked at several auction houses before becoming a partner.
He has developed expertise in Russian Art, Asian Art, Design, and Photography.
He was appointed as a judicial auctioneer by the Ministry of Justice in 2019.
François Wedrychowski is a graduate of the École du Louvre and the Sorbonne. He authored the catalogue of landscape drawings by Charles Natoire and has developed a passion for the performing arts—particularly the work of Erté—as well as for rare books, jewelry, and watches.
He was appointed as a judicial auctioneer by the Ministry of Justice in 2016. The MAGNIN WEDRY auction house organizes around forty sales annually at the Hôtel Drouot, covering fine art, vehicles, and industrial equipment.
Working closely with their team of experts, they are available to value and sell your items. They conduct inventories for inheritance, asset division, or insurance purposes. They also offer advice to clients on the preservation or expansion of their collections.
