SEQUANA Auction House, led by auctioneer and judicial officer Jérôme Drège, offers services including auctions, valuations, inventories, and estate divisions.

Located on Boulevard des Belges in Rouen—five minutes from the train station and a short walk from the Place du Vieux Marché—the gallery hosts exhibitions and auctions. SEQUANA also operates a logistics warehouse on the Left Bank of the Seine.

With a dedicated team, SEQUANA provides discreet services for valuations, insurance or pre-sale inventories, and the division of furniture and artworks across a wide range of specialties: archaeology, rare and modern books, stamps, antique engravings and modern prints, Old Master and 19th-century paintings, modern paintings and sculptures, jewelry, gold (coins and bullion), silverware, numismatics, ceramics, Asian and Oriental art, tribal art and non-European cultures, toys, musical instruments, arms and historical memorabilia, militaria, objets d'art and furnishings (from the early periods to the 19th century), 20th-century decorative arts (Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Design), wines and spirits, and carpets and tapestries.

We ensure the best possible results by providing a single point of contact for the seller, engaging renowned experts to showcase your items and collections, and leveraging the professional expertise of our associates.

We recently facilitated the return of a national treasure to the Château de Fontainebleau by assisting the owner of a commode—delivered in 1754 by the cabinetmaker Joubert for King Louis XV’s bedchamber—in a private sale valued at €1 million. Additionally, a painting by the Chinese artist Chu Teh-Chun, consigned by a collector couple who had acquired it at a 1989 exhibition dedicated to the artist, was sold for €266,600. An 8.02-carat pear-shaped diamond changed hands, fetching €102,920. Discovered in a cellar—hidden within its original wooden crates and nestled in straw packing—a collection of vintage "Tarragone" Chartreuse was acquired by a French collector for €125,000. Furthermore, the firm holds the world record for the sale of a work from the Rouen School, having achieved over €300,000 for Robert-Antoine Pinchon’s *Fête foraine, le 14 Juillet à Montmartre*.

Twice a year, SEQUANA auctions collections of antique weapons and historical memorabilia—its long-standing specialty—and organizes sales dedicated to vintage fashion and various other collecting themes. In addition to live auctions at the gallery, the firm conducts on-site sales at properties that have recently changed hands, both in Normandy and other regions.

Additionally, acting as an officer of the court (*Commissaire de Justice*) and a correspondent for the Rouen Commercial Court, Jérôme Drège carries out all types of inventories and auctions involving office furniture, industrial equipment, and vehicles.
