Valetoux maison de ventes aux enchères

Basile Valetoux, a qualified auctioneer, has been passionate about the world of antiques, objets d’art, and the art market since a young age. After studying Law at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne and Art History at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, he gained valuable experience through roles at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the National Ceramics Museum in Sèvres.

Specializing in Japanese ceramics, he contributed to the catalogue for the exhibition "Japon Japonismes, objets inspirés 1867-2018" and actively participates in conferences and study days organized by the MAD and the French Society for the Study of Oriental Ceramics (SFECO).

Drawing on extensive experience with auction houses in Paris and the provinces, Basile Valetoux qualified as an auctioneer in 2019 and as a judicial officer (*commissaire de justice*) in 2020.

Authorized to conduct voluntary auctions, he founded his own auction house in Versailles in 2020. He offers expertise, valuation, and auction services—both online and in-person—across the Yvelines (78) department, the Île-de-France region, and throughout France.

Services offered:

Expert appraisal of objets d’art, furniture, paintings, jewelry, collections, etc.

Free valuations, either online or via home visits.

Organization of auctions, held either in the saleroom or online.
