BAHREIN Teeservice aus Silber (925) mit 16 Löffeln, deren gedrehter Griff mit dem Wappen von Bahrain endet, oder einem Dallah. Gesamtgewicht: 269 g. Aufgeteilt in drei Kästchen, von denen zwei mit dem Wappen von Bahrain verziert sind (Abnutzungen an den Kästchen). Provenienz: Königliche Familie von Bahrain. Dieses Service wurde als persönliches Geschenk zum Ausdruck der Wertschätzung überreicht. Das Königreich Bahrain (Bahrain bedeutet "die zwei Meere") ist eine konstitutionelle Monarchie auf der Arabischen Halbinsel und ein Inselstaat mit der Hauptstadt Manama. Die Inselgruppe, die nach ihrer Hauptinsel (al-Bahrayn) benannt ist, liegt im Persischen Golf zwischen Katar und Saudi-Arabien. Bahrain ist seit 1783 unabhängig und wird seitdem von der sunnitischen Herrscherfamilie Al Khalifa regiert. Das Emirat Bahrain, in dem die Mehrheit der Bevölkerung dem schiitischen Glauben angehört, ist seit 2002 ein Königreich, das von König Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa (geb. 1950) regiert wird.
