[MINIATURBUCH – RELIGION]. Kleines Gemeindebuch für die Jugend. Bezauberndes Miniatur-Messbuch, verziert mit 12 gravierten Tafeln, darunter 1 Frontispiz. Paris, J. Langlumé, o. J. [um 1857]. In-64 (3 x 4,5 cm), roter Vollkarton, glatter, unbeschrifteter Rücken, vergoldeter Fries als Einrahmung auf den Deckblättern, alle Schnitte vergoldet (Einband aus der Entstehungszeit). 95 Seiten, 12 gravierte Einlegeblätter, darunter ein Frontispiz. Einband empfindlich (Einbandkanten gerissen), leichte Abriebspuren, Stockflecken. Reizendes Messbuch im Liliput-Format, verziert mit einem gravierten Frontispiz (Retter der Welt) und mehreren schwarz gedruckten, separat eingefügten Stichen, die religiöse und andächtige Szenen darstellen (das Jesuskind, die Himmelfahrt usw.) Handschriftliche Eigentumsvermerke aus der Entstehungszeit in brauner Tinte auf dem Vorsatzblatt: „Kleiner Gemeindemitglied, Eigentum von Laurier (?)“ Angesichts seines ungewöhnlichen Formats ist dieses Exemplar etwas empfindlich.
