In-4, brauner Halbmaroquin-Einband, Rücken mit kaltgeprägten Rippen, Autor und Titel in Goldbuchstaben, Vorsatzblätter und Rückseiten aus gekämmtem Papier, vergoldeter Kopf, illustrierte Einbanddeckel erhalten (Einband aus der Entstehungszeit) xi, 380 Seiten und 2 Blatt Inhaltsverzeichnis, 18 beiliegende Tafeln in Schwarz oder Zweifarbdruck, darunter 1 Frontispiz, zahlreiche Kopf- und Fußleisten. Einband leicht berieben, Rücken leicht verblasst, leichte schwarze Spuren am Rand einiger Seiten. Erstausgabe dieser Standardmonografie über die Zünfte von Valenciennes, illustriert mit 18 beiliegenden Tafeln verschiedener lokaler Künstler.
