In-8, durchgehend cremefarbenes Pergament. 2 ff., 220 S. und 5 ff., auf Kupfer gravierte Titelvignette, Kapitalbänder, Initialen und Schlussbuchstaben. In italienischer Sprache. Velin verschmutzt, Kappe abgewetzt, kleiner Fehlstelle am Titelrand, lose Heftnähte, einige Stockflecken. Schöne Veroneser Ausgabe der „Azolani“ von Pietro Bembo (1470–1547), einem wegweisenden Werk des Neuplatonismus der italienischen Renaissance, verfasst in Form von philosophischen und amourösen Dialogen am Hof von Asolo bei der Königin von Zypern, Caterina Cornaro. Diese Ausgabe aus dem 18. Jahrhundert enthält den wissenschaftlichen Text, der vom humanistischen Gelehrten Tommaso Porcacchi (1530–1585) mit Anmerkungen und Kommentaren versehen wurde, ergänzt durch erläuternde Anmerkungen am Anfang jedes Buches. Ein ansprechendes Exemplar.
