Mariano Fortuny y Marsal (Marià Josep Bernat Fortuny i Marsal, genannt) (katalanisch, 1838–1874) Der Einsiedler oder der heilige Hieronymus in der Wüste. Um 1869. Radierung, Aquatinta und Kaltnadelradierung. 505 x 375 [550 x 405 mm]. Sehr schöner Zustandsabzug auf Japanpapier mit Wasserzeichen, vor der Reinigung der Ränder der Kupferplatte und vor dem Einstempeln, mit dem Signaturstempel versehen. Ein kleiner weißer Punkt am Himmel (Farbfehler). Ein kleiner roter Gouachefleck im Motiv in der Mitte. Alle Ränder vorhanden. Ex-Sammlung Dr. H. Stinnes (Lugt 1376a). Stempel AABM (Lugt 3075).
