Claude Gellée, genannt Le Lorrain (1600–1682) Die Überquerung der Furt. 1634. Radierung. 164 x 105 [180 x 115 mm]. Robert-Dumesnil 3; Mannocci 12. Sehr schöner Abzug auf Büttenpapier, 2. Zustand B (von 5 nach Mannocci), der Name des Künstlers leicht abgekratzt, mit den beiden kurzen vertikalen Kratzern am Himmel rechts vom Baum in der Mitte und dem kleinen Makel, der links davon ein schwarzes Komma bildet. Links in den Wolken sehr feine, geschwungene weiße Striche (Farbfehler oder Kratzer). Über den Tieren eine kleine, geschickte Ausbesserung, die zwei feine, dreieckige weiße Linien bildet. Kleine Tintenflecken am Rand der Kupferplatte. Winzige Stockflecken. Leicht oxidierte Kleberückstände in den Ecken und oben auf der Rückseite. Kleine Ablösung oben in der Mitte auf der Rückseite. Schmale Ränder. Ex-Sammlung Dr. Julius Hofmann (Lugt 1264). AABM-Stempel (Lugt 3075).
