CHINA, Qing-Dynastie Bedeutende Porzellanfigur, bemalt mit Emaille der „Famille rose“-Tradition, die die Gottheit Amitayus im Dhyanasana sitzend darstellt, die Hände auf den Beinen ruhend und im Dhyanamudra gefaltet; ursprünglich hielt sie eine Trankopfervase, die heute jedoch fehlt. Die dargestellte Gottheit hat eine goldene Haut, einen aufrechten Oberkörper, ist mit zahlreichen Schmuckstücken geschmückt, ihr Gesicht strahlt Gelassenheit aus, die Augen sind halb geschlossen, der schmale Mund zeigt ein leichtes Lächeln. Das blaue Haar ist zu einem hohen Knoten zusammengebunden, der von einem fünfzackigen Diadem umgeben ist, und zwei lange Strähnen fallen zu beiden Seiten über die Schultern. Die Gottheit trägt ein mehrfarbiges Mönchsgewand mit einem Lotusrankenmuster auf türkis- und grünem Hintergrund.
