CHEVALLIER (Alphonse) – LANGLUMÉ (Pierre). Vollständige Abhandlung über die Lithografie oder Handbuch für Lithografen. Paris: Druckerei von Frau Huzard (geb. Vallat La Chapelle), 1838. — In-8, 199 x 130: XVI, 270 S., (1 Blatt), 12 Tafeln. Blauer Halbleinenband, glatter, verzierter Rücken, unbeschnitten (Einband aus dem 20. Jahrhundert). Teilweise originale Ausgabe, ergänzt durch Anmerkungen der Drucker und Lithografen Étienne Mantoux und Jean-Baptiste Joumar, dieser Abhandlung, die erstmals 1830 erschien und im selben Jahr den Preis der Société d’encouragement erhielt. Verfasst vom Drucker und Lithografen Pierre Langlumé und dem Chemiker Alphonse Chevallier, beginnt es mit Auszügen aus den Gesetzen und Verordnungen zur Presse, vom Gesetz vom 21. Oktober 1814 bis zur königlichen Verordnung vom 9. September 1835, und präsentiert anschließend eine Geschichte der Lithografie, gefolgt von einer Darstellung aller bekannten und neuen Verfahren, die für Lithografen von Interesse sein könnten. Die Ausgabe ist mit 12 Tafeln illustriert, die Lithografiedruckpressen zeigen. Exemplar in einem schlichten Einband aus der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Stockflecken.
