Lose Blätter, Einband aufgeklebt. Erstausgabe dieses Werks von Léopold Sédar Senghor, seiner Ehefrau Colette (1925–2019) gewidmet. Es handelt sich um ein Gedicht, das zugleich eine persönliche Klage, eine Reflexion über die Zeit und ein Bekenntnis zur „Négritude“ ist, in dem Senghor den Schmerz in Kunst und die Abwesenheit in poetische Präsenz verwandelt. Die Ausgabe ist mit einer originalen, nicht im Text enthaltenen Lithografie von Marc CHAGALL (1887–1985) illustriert. Limitierte Auflage von 450 Exemplaren auf Arches-Velinpapier (Nr. 166). Exemplar in sehr gutem Erhaltungszustand.
