JAPAN – 20. Jahrhundert Tempel-Laterne aus Kupfer, verziert mit komplexen Durchbruchmotiven sowie gravierten Ornamenten. Der breite, sich nach oben hin erweiternde Korpus ist in mehrere Felder unterteilt, die mit Pflanzenranken, stilisierten Blumen und Wolkenmotiven verziert sind. L Im Inneren ermöglicht ein Eisengestell mit einem großen Ring das Aufhängen der Laterne an der Decke oder an einem Balken des Tempels. Der untere Teil ruht auf geschwungenen Füßen Die Laterne trägt mehrere Inschriften. Eine davon gibt das Datum an: „April, 39. Jahr der Shôwa-Ära (1964)“. Zwei weitere Inschriften nennen die Stifter: „Spender: Nakata Shigeo“ und „Spender: Nakata Shôji“ Maße: Höhe 83 cm, Breite 100 cm, Tiefe 90 cm (Abnutzungsspuren, kleine Materialverluste, Oxidation …)
