JAPAN – 20. Jahrhundert Großes Räuchergefäß aus Gusseisen mit drei Füßen 香炉 (kôrô), das vermutlich für den Gebrauch innerhalb eines buddhistischen Tempels bestimmt war. Sein Korpus ruht auf drei hohen Füßen mit Löwenköpfen 獅子 (shishi) und ist mit mehreren breiten Bändern aus Reliefmotiven verziert, darunter sich wiederholende Wellen- und geometrische Muster. Der Weihrauchbrenner besteht aus vier Teilen aus geschwärztem Eisen. Wahrscheinlich für den Außenbereich eines Tempels bestimmt. Epoche: Japan – Mitte der Shôwa-Ära (Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts).
