Die 'Preussen' war ein Schwesterschiff der 'Stettin', die heute als Museumsschiff in Hamburg liegt. - Deutscher Marinemaler und Illustrator. S. arbeitete u.a. im Auftrag von Kaiser Wilhelm II., der einer seiner größten Verehrer war und den der Künstler auf mehreren Reisen begleitete.
