Herbert Zangs 1924 Krefeld - 2003 Krefeld zugeschrieben - Ohne Titel - Assemblage/Hartfaser. 28 x 26 cm. 37 x 35,5 cm (Maß mit Rahmen). Sign. r. u.: ZANGS. Im Objektrahmen unter Glas gerahmt. Zangs studierte von 1945-1950 an der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf u.a. bei Otto Pankok. Während des Studiums lernte er Günter Grass kennen. Ab 1952 entstehen die weltbekannten "Verweißungen" (noch vor den Arbeiten der ZERO Künstler), mit denen Zangs Kunstgeschichte schreibt. Joseph Beuys nannte ihn eine "vitale Naturerscheinung" und ein "begeistertes kreatives Chaos". Zahlreiche Einzel- wie auch Gruppenausstellungen u.a. 2004 im Westfälischen Landesmuseum für Kunst und Kulturgeschichte in Münster.
