Rückriem, Ulrich Geöffnete und geschlossene Formen (15 Skulpturenstudien) Bleistift und Feder in Schwarz auf Pergamin. 1986. 62,5 x 85 cm. Verso unten links mit Feder in Braun signiert "U. Rückriem" und datiert sowie mit Bleistiftannotationen. Vorzeichnungen zu Rückriems charakteristischen, minimalistischen Steinskulpturen. Ulrich Rückriem, gelernter Steinmetz, beschäftigt sich immer wieder mit dem Thema des Steinvolumens und dessen Interaktion mit dem Umraum. Er zerlegt die Materie durch Teilung und Reduzierung in einzelne Teile, die er dann wieder durch Verdopplung und Umpositionierung zu einer neuen Form zusammensetzt. Als bedeutender Vertreter von Minimalismus, Konzept- und Prozesskunst erwarb Rückriem große Anerkennung für sein selbstreflexives Werk.
