CHINA, Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts Ein Paar Sessel mit hufeisenförmiger Rückenlehne aus braun lackiertem Holz; die Rückenlehne ist mit zwei Medaillons verziert, von denen eines eine Vase mit Ruyi-Zepter und Fliegenklatsche zeigt und das andere eine durchbrochene Chimäre; die Pfosten, die die Rückenlehne stützen, sind mit Ranken verziert, die Sitzfläche ist mit Rattan geflochten (auf einem Holzunterbau), die Vorderseite der Sitzplatte weist ein durchbrochenes, archaisch anmutendes Motiv auf (das an Leiwen und Chilong erinnert), an den übrigen Seiten sind geschwungene Zierleisten angebracht; die vier Füße sind durch Querstreben und eine Fußstütze verbunden. H. 102 cm – B. 65,2 cm – T. (Sitzfläche) 46 cm LDM Abnutzungsspuren, Kratzer, Lackabplatzungen, Absplitterungen und Restaurierungen.
