Fabrizio Plessi, Italiener, geb. 1940 – „Digital Boat“, 2011; Videoinstallation mit Ton in einem Holzboot, H 33,5 x B 340 x T 81,5 cm (ARR) Hinweis: Dieses Werk kann nur nach Vereinbarung im Roseberys Warehouse besichtigt werden. Es liegt in der Verantwortung des Käufers, sicherzustellen, dass elektrische Geräte für den Gebrauch fachgerecht neu verkabelt werden. Im Jahr 2011 stellte Plessi im neu renovierten Venedig-Pavillon anlässlich der 54. Biennale von Venedig aus und schuf dabei Bildschirme, die Wasserströme projizierten und auf senkrecht ausgerichteten Booten installiert waren – ähnlich wie bei dem vorliegenden Los. Ähnliche Werke wurden 2015 auch im Ludwig-Museum – Museum für zeitgenössische Kunst in Budapest im Rahmen einer Einzelausstellung mit dem Titel „Lyquid Labyrinth“ gezeigt. Seit den 1960er Jahren ist Plessi ein Pionier der Videokunst, wobei Feuer und Wasser zentrale Themen seines Schaffens sind.
