Unknown (20th), Commemoration of the Imperial Era, around 1900, Sepia-Photography Unknown (20th century): Funeral, Solemn ceremony (Frederick the Great?), Imperial period in Germany, c. 1900, Sepia-Photography Technique: Sepia-Photography on Albumen paper, mounted on Cardboard Date: c. 1900 Description: Inscribed in pen on verso: "Friedrichs des Großen Begräbnis". Presumably this is a commemoration of the death of Frederick the Great, as the photograph was taken more than 100 years after the date of the Great Frederick's death. Keywords: 20th century, Realism, Cities, Germany, Size: Cardboard: 14,0 cm x 11,0 cm (5,5 x 4,3 in) Condition: Good condition. Sheet and photograph have discoloured according to age. On close inspection, scratch marks are visible on the surface of the photograph. The sheet support bears creases at the edges.
