Date: 2000 Description: This painting was created by Sabine Frank (born 1956) from Nuremberg in Salo in 2000. On an 18th century paper written in brown pen and ink (dated 1747 on the reverse), an Italian loaf of bread is shown in a round shape. According to the inscription on the reverse, the artist painted and ate the loaf depicted in January 2000. VITA: 1956 born in Nuremberg. 1978-84 Studied painting, art history and theatre studies at the University of Munich. 1984-87 apprenticeship as a goldsmith with Peter Maciuga. 1987 diploma. Lives and works from 1988-90 in Gargnano/Italy and Munich, from 1992-93 in San Rocco a Pilli/ Siena and Munich, from 1994-99 in Cassagnes and Labastide du Vert/France and since 1999 in Villa/Gargnano, Italy and Munich. Since 2001 production and installation of projects in the rooms of a former grocery shop in Villa/ Gargnano. Co-founder of the artist group La Tenda Rossa.
