Muter, Mela Dorfstraße Aquarell auf festem Velin. 35,5 x 40 cm. Unten rechts mit Pinsel in Schwarz signiert "MUTER". Zart miteinander kontrastierende Aquarelltöne konzentrieren sich um die feinen schwarzen Konturlinien herum, so dass immer wieder der helle Papierton hervorscheint. "Ihre Aquarelle sind leuchtende Blätter, auf denen die weißen Zwischenräume die Aussage der Farbe hervorheben. Mela Muter baut mit Farben auf und verzichtet, wenn erforderlich, auf die Hilfe der Linie" (Waldemar George, zit. n. Mela Muter. Bilder, Aquarelle, Zeichnungen, Ausst.-Kat.
