(Louis JOU). LA FONTAINE. DIE LIEBE VON PSYCHE UND CUPIDON. (Baux-de-Provence), Louis Jou, 1930. In-4°, broschiert, in einem verzierten Schuber des Verlags mit Klappen und Druckknöpfen. Wunderschöne und prächtige typografische Verzierungen in Schwarz, Grün, Rot und Gold, bereichert durch Arabesken und Blattwerk, von Louis Jou auf seinen endlich provenzalischen Druckpressen als Holzschnitt angefertigt! Er verwendete hier die Schriftzeichen, die er bereits für den Druck von „Le Prince“ und „Les Amours“ von Ronsard genutzt hatte, und fügte ihnen neue Schriftzeichen in den Schriftgrößen 24 und 10 hinzu, die er speziell für diese Ausgabe entwarf und gravierte, um darin eine ständige Erneuerung seiner selbst zu finden. EINES DER 10 AUF CHINE NUMMERTEN EXEMPLARE. Schönes Exemplar im Originalzustand, einige Abriebspuren an der Schatulle. (Blatt, Nr. 68).
