In-8, granatfarbenes Maroquinleder mit grober Narbung, gerippter Rücken, vergoldete Schnittkanten, Einband und Rücken mit breiter vergoldeter Girlande auf der Innenseite, Vorsatzblätter aus Moiré-Papier (David). Schöne Ausgabe, gedruckt in der Druckerei des Künstlers und illustriert mit 240 Holzschnitten im Text und als Einlegebilder; der Einband ist in Schwarz, Rot und Gold gedruckt, der Titel in Schwarz und Gelb auf einer Doppelseite, die zwei Wappenschilde bildet.
