Auf dem Untersatzpapier unten rechts in Bleistift bez. "Jos Meyer". Wz. Sonne im Kreis. Vergleichbare Montierungen mit gezeichneten Rahmenleisten und Kartusche befinden sich in der Sammlung der Biblioteca Marucelliana in Florenz, die auf die Herkunft unserer Zeichnung aus einer Florentiner Sammlung des 17. Jahrhunderts hindeuten (vgl. Marco Chiarini: Disegni del Seicento e del Settecento della Biblioteca Marucelliana, Florenz 2017, Kat. B 10). Provenienz: Edmond Lévy-Ditisheim (1896-1988), Basel.
