Gestell aus gebeiztem kubanischem Mahagoni, Armlehnen, die in schwertförmige Vorderbeine übergehen, hintere Beine ebenfalls schwertförmig, Sitzfläche und Rückenlehne später mit einem blau-roten Karosamt auf gelbem Grund bezogen. H. 85 – B. 53 – T. 60 cm (Einige Gebrauchsspuren wie Abrieb und Kratzer) Herkunft: – Ehemalige Sammlung des Ehepaars X., Möbelstück aus der Einrichtung einer Wohnung, die um 1940 von André Arbus gestaltet wurde. – Auktion im Hôtel de Carcassonne. – Vom derzeitigen Eigentümer bei dieser Auktion erworben Beschreibung: Diese Sessel stammen aus der Einrichtung einer Wohnung in Toulouse, deren gesamte Einrichtung bei André Arbus in Auftrag gegeben worden war.
