Robot | Star 50 Classic Factory Sample Estimate: € 3,200–3,600 Year: c.1996 SN: CL212501 Condition: A- English: Exceptionally rare white-finished Robot Star 50 Classic factory sample, internally engraved 'Unverkäufliches Muster' ('not for sale – sample'). The Star 50 Classic was planned as a special white collector’s version but never entered regular production. According to specialist Robot documentation, only a very small group of factory samples — reportedly five examples — was completed for presentation and evaluation. The present camera belongs to this pre-production group and differs visibly from all other Star 50 cameras by its large central spring-drive winding knob. Fitted with Schneider-Kreuznach Xenagon 3.5/30 mm no. 13271842, all in mint condition.
