Certo Camera Werk, Dresden | Certi Estimate: € 1,000–1,200 Year: c.1962 Condition: B+ English: Rare East German 35mm automatic-exposure camera with Meyer-Optik Görlitz Trioplan 1:3.5 f=45 mm. Die-cast metal body with integrated selenium exposure meter and mechanically controlled automatic aperture system. The Certi was Certo’s only camera with automatic exposure control and represents one of the company’s most technically ambitious post-war designs. Introduced around 1962/63, it appears to have been produced only for a short period in very small numbers, we don't know any recent sales. Provenience: Deutsches Fotomuseum, Markkleeberg Deutsch: Seltene ostdeutsche 35mm Kamera mit automatischer Belichtungssteuerung und Meyer Optik Görlitz Trioplan 1:3,5 f=45 mm. Metall-Druckgussgehäuse mit eingebautem Selenbelichtungsmesser und mechanisch gesteuerter Blendenautomatik. Die Certi war die einzige Certo-Kamera mit automatischer Belichtungsregelung und zählt zu den technisch anspruchsvollsten Nachkriegskonstruktionen des Unternehmens. Etwa 1962/63 eingeführt, wurde sie offenbar nur kurze Zeit in sehr kleinen Stückzahlen gefertigt. Neuere Verkäufe sind uns nicht bekannt. Provenienz: Deutsches Fotomuseum, Markkleeberg.
