EINE BÖHMISCHE KARAFFE AUS BLAUEM GLAS, HERGESTELLT FÜR DEN OSMANISCHEN MARKT, ENDE 18. - ANFANG 19. Das Gefäß aus opakem türkisblauem Glas hat einen facettierten, polygonalen Körper, der auf einem breiten, gewellten Fuß steht und sich zu einem hohen, facettierten Hals verjüngt, der durch geformte Kragen gegliedert ist. Er ist mit einem passenden Stopfen mit gewölbter, blütenförmiger Kappe versehen. Der Korpus ist mit vergoldeten Bogenfeldern, Blattwerken und sechszackigen Sternen verziert, während ein Band aus vertikalen stilisierten Elementen und Weinranken den unteren Teil umgibt. Der Hals ist mit kleineren vergoldeten Arabesken verziert, so dass eine reich verzierte Oberfläche entsteht, die charakteristisch für böhmisches Glas ist, das für den osmanischen Markt hergestellt wurde. Höhe: 27 cm.
