Leibl, Wilhelm Alter Mann mit Stock (Brustbild einer alten Bäuerin, auf einen Stock gestützt). Radierung auf Similijapan. 14,5 x 11,9 cm. Unten rechts in brauner Feder signiert "W. Leibl". Um 1875/77. Gronau 10, Billeter 12 I (von II). "Alter Bauer mit Hut und Stock" schreibt Leibl in einem Brief vom 7. Februar 1896 über die Radierung, die er selbst hochschätzte und laut Koehler als "chef d'œuvre" versteht, und beantwortet nebenbei auch ausdrücklich die Frage, ob Bauer oder Bäuerin. Ganz ausgezeichneter Druck vor dem "KG" oben links, mit dem für den ersten Zustand angegebenen zarten Wischton. Links verso leichte Spuren alter Montierung, kurze Knickspur in der unteren linken Ecke, schwach gegilbt, sonst sehr schöne erhaltenes Exemplar.
