Müller, Gustav Adolph [*] Jesus Christus in einer Landschaft von Engeln umgeben; Jesus Christus nach der Versuchung gestärkt. 2 Kupferstiche mit Radierung, wohl jeweils nach Brandt. 41,3 x 62,7 cm bzw. 65,2 x 50,1 cm. Nagler 6 und 8, Le Blanc 3 und 4. Wz. Schrift. Es ist unklar, ob Müller in Augsburg oder Wien geboren wurde, in Wien jedenfalls begründete er seinen Ruhm und wurde bereits 1727 Hofkupferstecher. Manches Mal wird er auch als Georg Andreas geführt, ansonsten ist recht wenig über seine Künstlerpersönlichkeit bekannt. Seine druckgraphischen Blätter, insbesondere die geätzten, sind sehr selten. Ganz ausgezeichnete, harmonische Drucke mit sehr feinem Rändchen um die Darstellung, jeweils unten mit der Plattenkante. Lediglich geringfügig angestaubt, in den Ecken nur vereinzelt montierungsbedingt knitterspurig, sonst tadellos und original erhalten. Von großer Seltenheit.
